Pricing
Two paid things exist, and they are not the same thing. One is a one-time licence for Studio features. The other is a monthly subscription for a hosted service that costs money to run every month — servers, Google API quota and email delivery.
The $20 licence keeps everything it unlocks today, permanently. Nothing is being moved out of it and nothing you already paid for changes. From here on, new paid features land in the subscription rather than the licence — because they are services that cost something to run every month, not code that ships once.

How billing works
- Who takes the payment
- Lemon Squeezy, who act as merchant of record. They handle VAT and sales tax wherever you are, and card details never touch this site.
- What a subscription covers
- One Sanity project, and every hostname mapped inside it. A second project needs its own subscription, because entitlement is keyed on project and dataset.
- Changing or cancelling
- Both from the customer portal, with no email required and no notice period. Cancelling leaves access running until the end of the period you already paid for.
- What cancelling does not do
- Nothing is deleted from your Sanity content, and your Google connection is untouched. Reconnecting later picks up from where you stopped.
Questions
What does it cost?+
$10 per month, per project, billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy. Cancel any time from the customer portal — no contract and no notice period.
Is this the same as the $20 licence key?+
No, and you do not need one to buy the other. The $20 licence is a one-time purchase that unlocks paid Studio features like the SEO Health Dashboard. Performance is a separate monthly subscription for the hosted analytics service, because it costs money to run every month — servers, Google API quota and email delivery.
I already bought the $20 licence. Do I lose anything?+
Nothing. The SEO Health Dashboard, AI field generation, Publish Gate and pro GEO checks stay exactly where they are, and stay yours. No feature is being moved out of the licence into the subscription, now or later.
So where do new paid features go from now on?+
Into this subscription. The licence covers what it covers and keeps covering it; anything paid built from here lands in Performance instead. That is not a downgrade to the licence — it is the honest split between code that ships once and services that cost money every month to keep running.
Is AI SEO suggestions the same as the AI generation I already have?+
No. The AI field generation in the $20 licence writes titles, descriptions and keywords from your content, and it stays in the licence. AI SEO suggestions reads your real Search Console numbers and tells you what to change and why — it needs the hosted analytics pipeline to work at all, so it lands here.
Do the free SEO fields change at all?+
No. Meta tags, Open Graph, X Cards, robots directives, SERP preview and the Schema.org helpers are MIT-licensed and stay free forever. Performance adds a tab; it takes nothing away.
What happens if I cancel?+
The Performance tab stops loading new data and scheduled reports stop sending. Nothing is deleted from your Sanity content, your Google account is untouched, and reconnecting later picks up where you left off.
Where do my Google credentials live?+
Encrypted at rest on the server, and never sent to the browser or into the Studio bundle. Revoking access in your Google account revokes it here immediately. The plugin itself never sees a token.
Why is the data always a few days behind?+
Search Console only marks data final after about three days, and reporting on provisional numbers would mean reports that quietly change after you have sent them to a client. Every window ends on the most recent complete day instead.
Can a client see a report without a Sanity account?+
Yes. Share links are read-only, scoped to a single page and date range, expire on their own and can be revoked early. They never expose your Studio or your credentials.
Do future features cost extra?+
One subscription, every feature. Everything added here later is included at no extra cost — the price you start on is the price you keep.
